
AIB Cork is pleased to jointly sponsor the South Cork Enterprise Board Regional Awards which celebrates the achievements of small businesses in Cork and recognises the vital contribution that the small business sector makes to the Irish economy.
The competition involves 2 stages, commencing with the South Cork Regional Final organised by the South Cork Enterprise Board and the winner progressing to the national competition. The competition is independently adjudicated and the selection criteria involves employment potential, marketing strength, financial strength, innovation/technology and quality of business plan.
Applications are invited from businesses that have received direct financial support by way of grant aid from the South Cork Enterprise Board.
Prize fund fo the Regional South Cork Qualifier will be as follows:
- €500 for Best Start-up Business (in business 5years or less)
- €500 for Best Business Trading longer than 5 years
- €500 for Best Export Business
- €500 for South Cork Runner Up 2011 (from above prizes)
- €1,000 for Overall Best Business 2011 (from above prize winners)
